Received a Card This Morning...
Good Morning All,
Well today I awarded myself the 3 month coin via my avatar:-) I can't believe it's been 3 months! The day started out great when I met my mother for coffee at the diner and she put an envelope in front of me. She gave me a card telling me how proud she was of me:-)
She is a recovering alcoholic for the past 39 years, so is familiar with the struggle, and remembered that the 30th was my anniversary date.
Such a nice boost to my morning!!

My daughter picked up her 18 month chip a few weeks back and I just picked up my 2 month chip on Sunday night. I don't like that her and I have to be in this together but we've formed a bond and are closer than we have ever been. We understand each other and we are equally as proud of eachother and derive our strength from that.
I bet that when you picked up your white chip your mother had tears of joy in her eyes.
