Day 13. Clean and Sober

Yup I am clean and sober for 13 days... This is the most I have gone willingly. So it is getting easier one day at the time. Drinking is not an option anymore..

Hiya! I am 13 days tomorrow! It's a good feeling isn't it! I am chuffed to bits. I think I am addicted to not being addicted if that makes any sense - I sure feel like I am obsessing about being sober - but it's better than every day hangovers!

I am also obsessing about being sober! I am constantly talking, reading or thinking about the addiction. That is soooo much better than being in the addiction. Feeling good and scared. Three days sober..

Awesome job! I am on day 4 myself and I cannot wait to get there. Just got to keep "drinking is not an option" fresh in our minds at all times.

Eleni I was lazy for an entire week, I would get out of work come home and sleep at 7pm... Not anymore ... Now I just feel so good, I haven't felt this way in a long time. I also haven't felt the anxiety the way I use to. I use to feel anxious, depressed and lonely all the time.. Alcohol depresses you... Clouds your mind.. Not an option...

Who said 13 was an unlucky number? Congratulations to you! Tomorrow you can wake up without a hangover and say to yourself "Two Weeks".
