Hey decided to get sober again after going back out after 2.5 years sober. I thought I could do it again but it only got worse then before. Way worse. I scared myself and now I no again that I can't do it. Saying bye to alcohol for good now, and packing my bag with all the tools and help I can get. Trying this avenue out as well see if it helps. Glad to be hear and hope to hear from you.

I did the same thing once, thought I could handle it, since I had been in recovery for a year or so. My first line confirmed I didn't was in trouble. You can do it!! Stay strong and keep believing in yourself!! Glad your hear, this place saved my life!

Hi Paulk and welcome!

The biggest and first step is your subject line. This is my fourth time getting sober and I never really understood that statement until this time.

Sobriety has to be for you and for no one else. Others can reap the benefit from you making the decision but the choice you make must be for you, and you alone. Only then will it work. You have to want it for you.

2.5 you're sober is not wasted time. You learned a tremendous amount. Learn from your past mistakes learn from your successes. You did it once and you can do it again sobriety is such a better life
