Welcome to SR Trish!! Can I ask what you're detoxing from? The reason I ask is alcohol withdrawal can be very dangerous and it really should be done with the help of a physician.
This is a GREAT site, people with addictions of all sorts (mine was crack) are here. I've found it doesn't really matter what someone else is/was addicted to (other than withdrawals) but we all shared a lot of similarities.
Hugs and prayers,
Amy

Yes I am detoxing from alcohol under medical supervision!!! Feeling like crap at the moment, sleeping lots, but did manage to squeeze in a lunchtime AA meeting without hewing up ) now back home in bed with a cup of tea,
Thank god my husband is sooo supportive, I thought I was going to loose him and my 3 kids when I confessed about my lying, hiding my booze in my underwear drawer or the past 3 months, I had 6 yrs up in AA , don't ever underestimate the powerfulness of that addict devil that can creep up on ur shoulder at any time, we must always b on our guard, now I'm right back at day 1 (((( feeling quite sad
