Simple things that have made you smile today :)

Sometimes it's the simplest of things that make us smile and be grateful for what we have. I tend to do a lot of moaning and veer towards the negatives in my life, trying to turn that around though!

So mine is...

My 4 year old daughter is currently 'cleaning' the windows. She's having great fun and getting soaked into the bargain. I'm chuckling as the sponge is going from washing the walls/patio and back up to the windows again - they're filthy! But she just said does that look good mum? Looks lovely darling, super job...

Guess what I'm going to be doing later

Feel free to add yours

Last night's breathtaking sunset.

My housesit cat's sudden desire and insistence upon sitting in my lap, and coating the computer and me in kitty fur. Meow!

I love this idea, thank you for posting it!

- Opening the windows this morning to feel and smell the fresh, cool summer morning air.
- Waking up to my kitty's nudge and excitement for her food.
- Watching the hummingbirds buzz around and sip from the hummingbird feeder.
- Reading this thread.

The look on the 90-pound phlebotomists face when I told her I frequently pass out when having my blood drawn. (I weigh 260).

You're welcome I'm just realising that lately I've been bogging myself down with the negatives, so I certainly need something like this!

Reading Don't Wake The Bear Hare!

Not for myself... I must say though, I do rather enjoy it!

It's cooled down a lot here so I'm going to spend the evening reading in the garden and appreciating the birds singing and the sunset.
