Day 44
Daughter had her tonsils out today. Very stressful. Lots of (brief, fleeting) fantasies about drinking today, reptile brain in the back of my mind bargaining with me about when I can drink again.

Very tired, got up at 4:30am today to get her to the surgery center. Third cup of coffee today (full octane). Oh well. I'm sober (although not caffeine free - oh well). Day 44.

Congrats on Day 44! So glad you're keeping your wits about ya and truly being there for your daughter!
Hmmm.. I don't know what day I'm at..but I think it's round there too.
