Question Day four

I was doing fine for the last three days. It really has not been that hard. Today I woke up dizzy. I have been drinking gatoraid and lots of water. My husband is a heavy drinker and has no desire to quit. This is not really bothering me. I have not dumped any liquor as there will always be alcohol here so I just need to stay strong. Any advice about the dizziness and how long it might last will be useful. I don't like the room spinning and this has happened twice. I have a broken back so I am not driving and am able to be home through this.

Huntingtontx, Day four? You are FANTASTIC. Congratulations. That beast inside is trying to trick you into drinking, so just stay strong. However if the dizziness gets worst go see your doctor. Rootin for ya.

Thank you, I am praying this will pass. I have quit a few times before, and done well for a while. I have never had dizziness before. I broke my back three months ago and am in a body brace till at least till the 22. I drank more in the last three months then I ever had, as I have not had to go to work. I fell and bruised my arm really bad five days ago, and I know this time has to be for ever.

I am on say 3 again. Talk to other people in recovery, read AA literature, and pray to your higher power. Take it easy on yourself, don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy! The eagles
