I'm very shaky today. I'm avoiding the parties all around me and it feels so lonely! I wonder if I can make it through without a drink and obsessed with the idea. Do you think anyone will be at meetings in small towns? Yikes!

AA meetings? If so all meetings I know of are on normal schedule. Going early was a big help to me at times of need. BE WELL

I'm sticking close to home as well and paying homage to my TV. I frequently feel guilty that I stay home and think I'm missing out on life but it's only been 3 months for me and I really WANT to stay home and relax.

I'm also staying close to home today, no parties for me. I've had enough parties in my lifetime, lol. Am very glad to have the peace and solitude. Will get in a solo bike ride or a run, and then take in some good movies and yummy food. Will watch the fireworks on tv if I'm still awake.

Stay strong Tigg. Do you have things planned at home that you enjoy to avert your thoughts? Like cooking, or good movies etc?
