I have the happiness I have been seeking. Ironically it wasn't inside a box of wine, but I needed to drain the box to figure that out. For the better part of two months I wanted to feel good about recovery, I just couldn't find it. But I have now. I'm happy, free, and cautiously optimistic. It feels good. It's only day 3, but it's right where I am supposed to be. I believe that. I don't feel the obsession. It's a miracle. Have a great day sr! I know I will!!!

Hey falling,

Great to hear that! I remember at first for me I was working to stay sober, dragging myself to AA, but didn't really have a positive attitude about it--didn't want to drink, didn't want to not drink, wanted some paradoxical middle ground.

Keep that attitude and what it is that's got you three days. When you catch that stride it's just a matter of doing the right work and gratitude. And it only keeps getting better.
