Tomorrow makes my 11th month
Wow! It's been almost a year of being sober. Not a drip of any type of alcohol has entered my body. I feel so much better mentally and physically now. It was a hard and long road, but it seems I've left the rutted parts behind and hit smooth asphalt.
This is a journey I'll be on the rest of my life, but it's well worth it. If anyone out there who reads these words and you're struggling, trust me; it CAN be done. Never give up.

Right there with you time-wise, CoalEater. Feeling very much the same as you. Every once in a while it's totally worthwhile to post something like this - I hope newcomers and those struggling to succeed read this, and BELIEVE it. Sobriety is a tough road, but the rewards are great. Thanks for that reminder on this day. Congrats on 11 months!
