You're still trying and that's a big part. I was kinda lucky that I was single and didn't have a lot of friends in my area when I got sober because I didn't have a lot of relationships built around drugs and alcohol. I did have my family's support though. Is your family not being supportive of your want to get clean?

I, too, hope JBird you visit SR again. I have found SR to be very supportive and informational. It sounds like you are feeling pretty strong about taking care of yourself. That is so wonderful! If you are making lots of big changes maybe having SR might be something familiar.
