Leaving that SOB
Leaving that SOB
I am a double winner, and I have to save myself. Geez, just like my-x, but in an exponential way. Do I have a death wish? Having to deal with his stuff is exhausting. What a high maintenance dude. I am so not into being criticized. He is sick if not more so then me. This **** has got to stop and now.

Wishing you the strength you need to do what you have to do.
Yes, martyrdom in the cause of someone else's disease neither covers us with glory, nor does the other person any good.
Your own sobriety has to come first.
Wishing you strength and clarity--keep posting, it helps.

You go girl, like we say in Al Anon: "put on the oxygen mask first". This is especially true for us double winners. Alcoholism can kill us and we have to take care of number one first.
You can do it!!!
Feel free to contact me if you need support. I have walked in your shoes and I might be able to help you avoid a couple of potholes on your road to recovery

I am so appreciative of all of your support. It means so much to me. I'm leaving my boyfriend I can't handle the criticism. It is verbal abuse and I can't stay sober in this toxic relationship. Why. It was misrepresentation. Fraudulent. He was so giving, fun, and supportive. A year into our relationship things changed and he did a 180* I should have left a long time ago. I hate this BS.
