Still new but kinda proud of myself!

Just had to share.

today it will be 1 week since I have taken a drink!!

that is the longest time in as long as I can remember!

on Sunday I went on an errand to pick up some stuff and passed at least 5 liquor stores!!

normally I would have used this excursion to "sneak some booze", but as my AV was telling me that a small bottle would be ok, I asked myself if I REALLY wanted to screw up my "record" so far and decided not to buy any!

just HAD to share, hope everyone had a great weekend!

Good job! You should be proud!

My AV tells me every day that it's ok to drink. It talks allllll day long. Usually I can ignore it. Hoping the more I ignore it, the more silent it becomes.

Congratulations! It does get easier a day at a time. Our biggest problem is listening to the shite fairy saying we deserve to congratulate ourselves or some other lie to have a drink.
