Hi all. I'm scared that I can not do this. Tabs and perks are ruining my life. I thought of trying to get on Suboxone, but have read that the withdrawal is worse. I'm leaning toward quitting cold turk. Help!!!!

I think everyone scared when they think about coming off whatever their drug of choice is.

In every case, I think the fear is worse than the reality.

That's not to say it's easy but it's far from impossible.

I'm afraid I nothing about percs and subs, tho - others may.
Do you have a doctor you could discuss your various options with?

I do have the option to get on Suboxone but scared that is trading one for another.

Beginnings are always scary, so your fear is normal. You can do this though, I promise you that. You are stronger than you know.

I would say to discuss this with your doctor so they can help you get clean with the least misery of going thru w/d.

I am scared everyday when I wake up that I might decide to drink. Your fear is normal. Please do whatever it takes to get clean. One addiction at a time, one fear at a time. Too much thinking gets in the way of knowing what is right for you. Please see a Dr. and work it out.

Thanks for the support. I did see doc today and got prescription. Feeling better that I have began treatment.

Does anyone here take Soboxone? I am sorry for asking if this is not the appropriate forum. I just wanted to find out how others are doing with the medication.
