If I died today
Day 9 today.
Buried the ashes of my grandmother, and it brought up a lot of emotions for me. This thought keeps popping into my head: If I died today, would I leave this world content with the life I've lived?
The answer is no. I don't like the person I've become when I drink or use. I've done a lot of bad things while under the influence, and lost a lot of time being hung over and miserable.
Thankful I am clean and sober today, and I'm going to continue to work hard every day for my sobriety. Someday I hope to answer "yes" to that question

Wow, that one hit me like a pan in the face. 7 months ago I would have been filled with regrets and disappointments. Today, there is pride and peace with the knowledge that I've summoned an inner strength I never knew I had.

Sorry for your loss , Please unburden yourself from your past. Non alchoholic Non users do it everyday. Just ask God for forgiveness. You are a good person who has a defect and you are working on that
