Talking Hello Group

I am a newcomer and want to say "Hello". 7 months sobriety, female and I love going to meetings. I look forward to meeting people and having friendships in sobriety. Mostly I love learning to change from my old ways and adopting clean sober ways of living. email me anytime. Bonding with sober people keeps me sober. Have a good day!

My wife and I have been sober since she took me to the hospital Halloween night, after which I spent a week in detox...

I found this place after 2 years and I was somewhat in a rut at the time. This place, and sharing my story and experiences to people who are now in a similar place I was in, has really lit a fire in me. I feel great being able to give back and provide insight to people struggling. I know all to well how awful and depressing being in the cycle of alcoholism can be, so I really feel for people I meet on here. I want the best for everyone, lol. Being on here helps re-establish my own sobriety and allows me to give back. Im glad you found it too, its super helpful.
