Okay so I wrote a long introductory post, then chickened out and tried to delete it. I read about some other peoples issues and thought "I'm not that bad, I don't belong here..." But the truth is my drinking IS out of control and I'm on a dangerous path. Cutting down doesn't work for me, I need to cut it out. I didn't think it would be so hard to admit it. Thanks for the welcome.

Write it down it does help... You don't have to post it but it will help you to see things you want to look away from. Take all the time you need. This is not an easy journey but the alternative is vastly harder!
