For All You Dog Owners-

So I saw this quote the other day and of course thought of all the pet owners on this board. Thought I would share-

Learn a lesson from your dog- No matter what life brings you, kick some grass on that sh!t and move on.

If only it was that easy!!!

Thanks! proud owner of 2 Boston Terriers

Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:
◾When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
◾Puppy games are for big dogs too
◾Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
◾Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy.
◾Take naps.
◾Stretch before rising.
◾Run, romp, and play daily.
◾Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
◾Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
◾On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
◾On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
◾When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
◾Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
◾Be loyal.
◾Never pretend to be something you’re not.
◾If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
◾When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.

ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY!

"Avoid biting when a simple growl will do"

This especially resonates with me.

Without my dogs I don't know how I could have come home to the empty house every night those first few weeks. I finally got my big black wolf out of the crazy world too, so, right now, much of my time is spent training him out of being either locked into a cage all day or dumped into a backyard filled with garbage to do his business. Just seeing him flourish now, it makes me cry with happiness.

All three of my dogs are so overjoyed when I come home from work, and such love sponges. They really are God's representative here on Earth as far as I am concerned.

And bonus, none of them snore like my ex. Makes going to sleep so easy. They are bed hogs though.

Dear owathu, one of the physical laws of the universe: "A sleeping dog increases in weight
over time". Who knew. And, it doesn't matter one twit how big the bed is, either.

What about cats???
If an outdoor cat is mistreawted and unhappy, it just moves out - no guilt - just looks for a better human slave!
if only things were that easy for humans......
