Welcome silver.... Dive right in post and read it really helps alot! Take it easy on yourself drink lots of water eat sleep, be lazy if you have to take your vitamins and do something nice for yourself like a great movie and an ice cream sundae.
You will find alot of support here

Go to the doctor and tell him you want to quit. Don't drink.

My Docs help made detox bearable. without it i would have no choice but to drink. I thought i was gonna laterally die.

have someone take you. quick.

Are you experiencing withdrawal symptoms? How much were you drinking daily?

Welcome Silverskyy - it's great to have you with us.

I agree that posting and reading here help the anxiety you'll be feeling. It helped me to know I wasn't alone. I did anything I could think of to distract myself the first few days. I'm glad you reached out for support & encouragement. You can do this!

Welcome Silverskyy1

Lots of good suggestions here - read around and post as much as you like, do see a Dr especially if you feel concerned about your health, and don't be afraid top look for face to face support if you think you need it. There's a number of different meeting based recovery approaches around as well as counselling etc

Welcome!
Shop around for a good AA meeting to attend regularly.
