Going to post daily if that's OK
Morning all,
When i did my 17 days sober earlier this month it was largely de to the fact that I posted like a fiend on SR and got lots of support and advice .
. I was away on a work trip and didn't drink at all but when I came home I stupidly resumed my old habits :-(
I am posting in the 24 hour sign up thread but I want to post here too to make myself publicly accountable to you wonderful people.. so here it is .. "I am NOT going to drink today". Simple.
Last night (hungover and ashamed from the previous night) I did manage to regain some of my true self. Planned an awesome summer holiday with my son :-)...Woke this morning at 5.30am with a clear head and accomplished loads of things before 7.00am . Heading for a work meeting later and know that I will be able to think straight .. Hopefully, this will be my pattern from now on...

Keep your chin up, leave regrets and shame behind and work on your sobriety.
