Hi I'm new here
Hi I'm new here
I just wanted to make my first post and say a little about me and why I am here.
I think this is the area I belong in as an adult child of an alcoholic and I've married two alcoholics.
Spending nearly 6 decades under the influence of alcoholics I'm finally free and trying to keep it that way. It's been a struggle to keep the chaos and chaos driven people out of my life which is why I am here to hopefully discover what my part in all of it is so I can make the necessary changes.
BTW, my username stands for PeaceLoveHarmony.
It's nice to be here and I've enjoyed reading much of the forum this feels like a place of healing.

Hi, PLH. I found that the biggest help in removing the chaos from my life was drawing strong boundries and STICKING by them. I met resistance at first (of course), but I was just so exhausted and just couldn't live with it any more.
