Hello everyone. I am SweetHeartHelpr. I am here trying to gain information on helping a friend detox from Heroin. He means a lot to me. I have known him for a long time, and would love to help him. I know I can't help him unless he wants to help himself. However, I am looking for meeting in Seaford, Delaware and do not know where to look. I am looking for information on how to be a supportive friend, while he is trying to get clean. Also what do I need to be prepared for if he does try to get clean. What can happen to him? I know that he has also used Cocaine in the past, as well as Marijuana. If anyone can lead me in the right direction it will be most appreciated. I really just want to be a good friend and help him. I have used some drugs in the past, but have been able to clean my life up. I am university student going for Psychology. I feel like I should know how to handle these situations, from my own past and me education. But I am feeling confused and in need of help. So if you have anything even the smallest bit of help I would very much appreciate it.
