Welcome to SR Eric. Congratulations on your sober/clean time. We know how hard it is in the early days.

I hope you'll find it helpful to know you aren't alone. Until I found this place I had no one in my life who really understood. Glad you are here.

! You've found the right place! Congrats on your clean time. Do you have a recovery plan? Some things that have helped/are helping me:
-SR & other recovery websites
-AA (you might also want to check out NA)
-Intensive Outpatient Rehab (IOP) followed by a longer term Outpatient Group that meets less frequently
-reading recovery books
-leading a healthier lifestyle overall (eating healthy, exercise if you can, sleeping regularly
-making recovery friends
-trying new things to fill my time (boredom is a HUGE trigger for me)
-celebrating "anniversaries" with healthy rewards
