Im sittting outside, about to enter my first AA meeting

The meeting starts in about 10 minutes and I'm so scared of going in, but I know I'm going to...I can't keep putting this off. Please wish me luck, it's a beginners meeting, which I think will be great for me.

Good luck!

Beginners meetings are great. They usually have the first part of the meeting dedicated to people with less than a year. It's a good time to both share if you're feeling up to it or even just listen to newcomers who are in the same situation as you.

If you can muster it, definitely raise your hand if they ask if it's anyone's first AA meeting ever. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the warm welcome you receive.
