It's time for me to stop lurking through everyone else's posts, and start to do some of my own. I have struggled with drinking for all my adult life, started with binge drinking during college, with the past 5 years being a bottle of wine a day - with way more over the weekends. Now sober for 4 days, and have been reading SR for most of that time. Thank you all for your words of wisdom and experience.

8 days for me now. I too was a bottle of wine a day with more on the weekends. It's hard, but a good support system is helpful!

I remember not feeling well for a few days - sniffles, feverish & very tired. Not sure if it had anything to do with withdrawal. I hope you feel better tomorrow.
