suboxone short term to skip physical withdrawal.

So I've been snorting heroin for roughly a year, maybe a little less than that and it's already consuming my life. I want so badly to quit but find it hard when I'm at work with no energy. What I need is information. I just want to quit and never look back. Would I be able to buy a few subs off the street and do quarters of them for maybe a week or so to get past the physical past of the withdrawal? Then quit those as Well? What are some things I can do for energy? And maybe positions and aids to help me with sleeping? I'm weak and I know it, I'm in desperate need of help.

Welcome. I salute your desire to break the chains of your addiction.

I am afraid you aren't going to find anyone here who's going to tell you to engage in the illegal purchase of suboxone to ease your withdrawals.

I would suggest you see a doctor and follow a prescribed treatment.

And find an NA meeting. I'm sure someone there has successfully beat heroin and tell you how they did it.

We can't give medical advice here Jammer, you need to see a doctor if you want to detox using prescription drugs.

This site is to help people who want to stay sober but we can't give medical advice here. It would be irresponsible and besides, it's against the rules.

Please seek medical help for your question. Obviously this is a recovery forum and we'd never suggest buying drugs off the street to help withdrawal.

I don't make much money, I just want to stop. That's all. I'm so tired of feeling like this every day

Can you contact your local Salvation Army? If they don't have a detox center, perhaps they can refer you to one. Free or low cost.
