I feel so good!

Today marks four months sober for me. I am so full of gratitude. I just want people who are struggling to know that sobriety is feasible. I know that four months isn't that long, but if someone would have told me that I could go this long without drinking when I still was I would have never believed it. I love AA it has helped me so much, and these forums are great for when I am alone. I am so happy. Sobriety no longer seems like a chore. It is a lifestyle that I can learn and grow in every day.

Congrats, 4 months is awesome, you should be proud of yourself. I had 18 days, then blew it and am back to Day 2. When did it start getting easier, that you didn't think about or crave alcohol every day?

Congratulations. As someone who slipped up yesterday, after three weeks sober, I find your story and happiness quite inspirational. Well done and keep it up.

Thank you every body! Lady it started to get a lot easier after the first few weeks. AA has been so good for me. I am very grateful for my network there, and on this site.

Thanks, Pixie, I needed to hear that today! I am looking forward to hitting 4 months....only at 36 days sober here. It's been up and down, but mostly up 'til today. You gave me inspiration for this weekend, thanks again.

Peace,
~Heartfan
