Below is a link to a keynote speech by Dr Kevin McCauley that I ran across while watching the much talked about video "Pleasure Unwoven". Dr. McCauley is an engaging speaker and this video explains, in yet another way, the disease model of addiction. It's about an hour long but his speaking style is captivating and I thought I would share what I tripped across. In the video he also explains how and why he became interested in making addiction a primary area of interest and study.
