This is a good place to start. Just admitting there is a problem is the first step toward solving it. Depending on your drinking habits, you may be wise to have a medically supervised detox. Detoxing from alcohol can be dangerous.

Once you're sober do you have a plan in place to stay sober? I stay sober with the help of this site and my counselor.
