Something led you here. For some reason you googled something, talked to someone, or perhaps just happened on this site by fate or accident...
I just want you to know that you don't have to be exhausted any longer. You don't have to keep chasing your high, your buzz, your drunk...
You don't have to sweat out a hangover. A withdrawal. You don't have to wonder what's causing your body to hurt. You don't have to wonder if an ache and pain is a symptom of your self inflicted abuse or a natural selection bummer... why you're so anxious. Why you can't even sit at a stop light without wondering if you'll pass out. Or... if you'll die in your sleep because of a result of your substance abuse.
You can move on. You CAN move on... and accept the freedom of knowing each action you take in life and each result is simply a response of living. of life...
Continuing in the life that led you here is exhausting and will never change. Take the peace, freedom, rest, and hope in knowing you do have a choice in the matter... and can indeed live free.
And know... it gets so much better.
Just something I was thinking about in the shower tonight... after a whirlwind of emotional week....
