Hello
Hello Popchile, welcome to SR. When I was new to SR back in February, I found it useful to read different threads to get a feel for the environment, and I joined the class thread. You may want to read some of the posts in the Class of April thread, and if it sounds like a support system that resonates with you, jump on in and introduce yourself. SoberRecovery has been a lifeline for me and I sincerely hope that you will find your inspiration here as well!

I have been sober for 9 weeks on Tuesday. Alcohol is my doc. I have been in and out of AA for a long time but I do feel this time around I have finally accepted i am an alcoholic. I can't get to as many meetings as i would like. Lately the meetings I have been at i have found difficult as some members have been rambling on about rubbish and I have not been relating much to them. But I should say that does not mean I don't want to go to them anymore. I am praying to my hp to understand and practice the concept of 'live and let live' but taught this website would be of use as well
