struggling with day 8
struggling with day 8
I woke In a panic, Day 8 accomplished. First day 8 since I began this journey, recovery. First thought call , get some, you deserve it. Second thought, get on SR, get some support,. Read ,help someone else. Then I was overwhelmed. So many people, some like me, some further along. So many , too many. People helping each other. Onward. Let me get through the next minute. God Bless
Exactly, ONWARD!
Stick with that second thought and make it through each minute of day 8.
You can do this!
You will be so glad to wake up to day 9 tomorrow
Hang in there! Stick close to SR bc there is lots of support here

Hey Trikyriky - Prayers for your rest coming your way. Like Jeni said, the panic attacks will eventually go away. If we continue to drink, the attacks will always come back. Along with everything else the drunkenness brings. For me the anxiety was unbearable. Here I am on Day 63 with confidence and no anxiety at all. Take small steps at first and conquer those short term trials. You can do it Trikyrik ! By the way Trikyriky your avatar could use some Gold in it...Here We Go...
You know it Trikyriky How are you doing this evening, any better? Not every day may be good, but there is something good in everyday. Like staying Sober for one. I still have my moments, but they seem to be more and more farther apart. If we show great courage and do what ever it takes to get through those times without drinking, it will only make us stronger for the next. It's amazing, I mean I was a hardcore drunk and today at times I feel this ultimate natural Sober high at times. So like everyone that has some Sobriety says and with out a doubt it does get better. Trikyriky, struggling with day 8? You are FANTASTIC. Congratulations. Just suffer through the cravings, it's just about all you can do. 1 year 7 months no crack and the intensity of the urges is considerably less powerful than in the beginning. You can do this Riky.
