Hi All,

I just wanted to share some positive news on my battle with Alcohol and cannabis. Today marks the 9th day of my sobriety and I am feeling amazing. I have a welcome sense of peace to my thoughts and great satisfaction from not allowing myself to indulge in my dark side. My confidence is coming back in abundance and I have a new source of energy. After weeks of binge drinking and smoking I would have this terrible jagged feeling in the centre of my chest. It felt my insides were rusting and I was awash with panic and anxiety. But today I’m feeling fresh and its the best ive felt about myself and the future for years!
I still have a long way to go and I know there will be days when I will feel weak. But for all of you out there struggling as many of us do – Believe and have strength!

That's wonderful. Keep up the good work. Maybe looking into some tools to keep yourself sober during the rough times may be in order soon?

Thats a great story. I started to feel better at day 10 of sobriety. And that is today.
