It can't be just me, right?

I've already established fairly well that I am weird.

But, in the last few days or so--I've noticed I'm taking an unexpected quick/deep breath.

It'll just come out of no where? It's not alarming, nor do I have any other types of physical symptoms, it's almost like a hiccup I suppose, but a quick intake of breath.

I notice it more when I'm in bed, or sitting.

Any experience? Or, is this just one more thing to add to me list of weirdness?

(Not asking for medical advice, as I said it's not alarming--just strange now that I've noticed it).

Wow, you spent some real time and energy into something that isn't true.

The breathing thing is completely normal. Though you might see it as an odd occurrence because you are weird in your mind.

Establish that you are normal.

And find a group that is relevant to this, unless you also have addiction issues.

((Scout)) - I have had that happen on occasion. Not every day, just now and then. It may have happened before I got into recovery, but I was too messed up to notice it?

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

Thanks. Naw, not really anxious. I suppose just a little more off kilter since the booze has been out.
Truthfully, I've felt a lot less anxious. I'm squirrelly in general, but never goofy anxious.
(Unless coming off a big bender).

So, was just wondering is all. Thanks!

Smile Seems normal

Ya know what's funny, that happens to me sometimes. Just out of nowhere. I saw my little nieces do it right before they fall asleep, I guess it's normal. I had it both before during and after I started and stopped drinking so I guess it's a normal thing.

It is natural. It is called a "sigh".
It is like revving your engine to clear the exhaust.
Ok, that is more confusing than the question.

I just had one of those sighs, I think for me it's like sigh, I just got through that situation sober. Bad thoughts today. Glad I am here.
