How do i get a sponser?

Can someone tell me how to get a sponser and what exactly is a sponser? I know they are ppl to help u through sobriety but what else?

Are you attending AA meetings? That is where the sponsors are. You can talk to people there or obtain the pamphlet "Sponsorship"
