Hypochondria is pretty common, at least it was for me. Part of me couldn't believe I was ok, I think.

If you're really worried, get a full physical

and stay off 'Dr Google' - it's not good for some of us

wise words Dee! I have probably caused more health problems with Dr. Google in a week than I have actually had throughout my life!

I had the exact same experience, just thinking that any little pinch or itch was a sign of an impending health catastrophe. Part of me struggles with that but I go to the dr and am completely honest, and when they assure me that everything is okay I try to take that and use it to calm my mind.

I suffered from anxiety attacks for years. They certainly got worse when I put the booze and Valium down.

My symptoms began to abate when I sincerely got down on my knees and asked God to remove them.

All the best.

I was told I needed to be clean and sober for at least 6 months till I could be accurately diagnosed. I am bi polar.

I think it's pretty normal to have a lot of anxiety in the first few months of recovery. We get our feelings back and we are not used to that. We are used to anesthetizing our feelings.

Hang in there. Wanna take a virtual Hawaii vacation to rest your nerves? Here you go!

I turn all the lights off in my bedroom and maximize the screen and just kick back and relax. Don't forget the sun screen.
