I actually made it 60 days!

Considering all of the ups and downs in the last 2 months, I'm pretty proud of myself. However, I know there is a looong road ahead and I want to keep going. Thanks to all of the great people on SR who have unknowingly kept me from going insane What a powerful tool this has become to me.

Thanks everyone. It's amazing how quickly these 2 months have passed for me. I can't help but look at the future as a daunting task. Forever is..well.. forever. And I seriously wonder I can make it that long. Sure, 60 days is an accomplishment, but I just hope I can remain strong enough to stay sober in the long run.

Congratulations on 60 days, BCS, well done! Even though I have committed to NEVER drink again, I don’t spend much time worrying about the future, I have my hands full dealing with daily obligations! Another way to look at it, do you find yourself worrying about what you are going to eat for dinner 5, 10, 15 years down the line? I do find maintaining a positive attitude very helpful! I am at 58 days today, so we are very close in our sobriety time. Feels great, doesn’t it?

Haha.. no. But it would be entertaining if I did. It does feel great. Congrats to you as well!
