School holidays work ect forgot about this site didn't get to meetings and landed myself in the car park at a tavern rang sponser didn't drink but soon as I run myself down by doing everything and not working recovery bam look where I ended up wow good lesson made it very real that recovery is doing the work !!!!! Thank u god for looking after me in these times and reminds me to hand over my will 100 times a day to the care of god .

Temptations will get easier as you go along sober.
I can pass a bar or liquor store now whistling and happy, knowing I don't have to go in.
But my thoughts are always with those who do go in. I've been there so many times they were like a magnate to me, ready to suck me in.

Willpower isn't enough. I need my higher power. I'm no longer tempted and I'm very thankful for that and count my blessings.

Good for you if you didn't go in. The stores and bars aren't go anywhere, but I am. I'm on a journey of recovery and so greatful for that.
