greetings

I am joining and posting in hopes that my daughter and her fiance can find help and support thru the sonora community (or any community). her man, is an alcoholic. i did alanon in my youth and think she can learn from it. she needs help in her decision making. she, so far, gives him ultimatums and does not follow through. she insisted he go to aa, he did once. now for weeks nothing but arguments. she grew up with me, her mom, never drinking. her dad however made up for that by drinking to excess. she has gone out and found her dads problems, in her fiance. i love and support her but i am her mom and she will learn better from others. there is more history but this is a big introduction as it sits. i will let her get on this site and learn from others. thank everyone for having this site open to us.

Welcome oddnuff. We also have a Friends & Family forum which may be very helpful for you and your daughter. We're glad to have you here - this is a wonderful place for support.
