I have been posting about this new experience of trying to quit the pills. I haven't gotten any responses. I'm going a new route this time. I'm not doing it cold turkey because with the amount I was taking I felt like I would die 1 day into not taking them. I was on the pain pills for years due to back/neck injuries. When I lost my dr last year I started buying them thru other ppl. I have spent $1000 a week or more since I lost my dr. I am on day 10 though, and I have no cravings. I just hurt and can find no relief. I pray we can all get off the pills/alcohol/pot/any other illicit drug that any maybe trying to rid their from their lives. Again, hello again to this site...I used it a couple of years ago and got plenty of support going cold turkey, but only made it to day4. I love to read the stories and experiences. Hello, stopaddiction. Like others here, my DOC was alcohol. Keep reading the threads and educating yourself about withdrawal and recovery. You may also want to look into AVRT to help get you through the cravings. Best wishes to you!
