thanks everyone 20 years i still dont understand it feel iv gave himevery chance over and over he has to want to do it.

You're so right jjer. Sounds like you could use some support. Have you checked out Al Anon in your area?

This is so right. He himself has to want to get sober, nothing else can make him want that. I'm also sorry you're in this situation. Coming here could be a safe place for you to vent your frustrations.
