Sober concert tonight

Don't think it's going to be too hard, but... The more I think, the harder it seems.

Going to Chicago to see my husbands favorite group: g love
Set my limitations already and made sponsor and club friends aware of where ill be, and they are on stand by if I need to call them.

Gonna jam out, sober... And I think it will be a great time!

Hopefully this time I see them, I won't fall down the steps. But at least if I do, I'll be sober, so you know it will hurt 10x more lol

Sober: concert is in a little while. Ill let you know how it is.

As of right now, I'm the only one not drinking, or smoking weed.
Right now I hate my effin life. Not because I can't drink, but because my tolerance for people, my husband in particular, is extremely low.
Ugh!!!!!

I got to concerts a LOT. I'm talking once a week, sometimes more. I've found that the best thing to do is get drinks (Non-alc) and snacks. It makes it easier to keep your mind off ordering alcohol if you're ordering other things. For me it's usually a diet pepsi and maybe a soft pretzel or something like that. If they have coffee that's the best but it seems rare to be able to get coffee at many concerts, for some reason.

Made it sober! But the night ended with my marijuana addicted husband, who was buzzed from booze and weed- and I fighting bag. Oh well above all else I stayed sober. The rest will fall into place.

Amazing how just adding a little drugs and alcohol into an event can ruin the ending, huh? Sorry you ended up getting in a fight - maybe the next concert you go to you can both be sober?

Either way congrats on making it through without a drink, that's very important!

Absolutely! I'm sorry you guys fought. Arguing is bad enough, but arguing when the other person is drunk and/or high really sucks. You rock FT...you do!

I've noticed this too Avocado. When I watch live local bands at local bars and small venues like that I always ask for coffee. If they have a pot and some beans they are always willing to brew it up for me One place I know the bartender and I would text ahead and he would have it ready by the time I got there LOL
