Today was a day worth celebrating

Today I told my boss at work my boyfriend and I would like to transfer to Colorado, I told him that I have been free of alcohol for 8 months, and we are choosing to live life. My boss then told me he has seen remarkable growth in me this last year and would support me in anyway possible... Never would have seen this day with alcohol. As I sip on my new favorite beverage (warm and soothing herbal tea) I toast all of us that have made it here and work hard everyday to choosing life.
