Ideas to stay busy?

Does anyone have any ideas to stay busy in the first 90 days of recovery? Im not going to treatment this time and that is how I usually got through it. Any help will be appreciated. I am not working and do not have my children at home so I have way to much time on my shaky hands.

I agree. I work and when I come home, clean the house, feed the dogs, cook, laundry, relax, watch TV, read books, come to SR. I have more energy now instead of sitting on the sofa drinking. I can run, walk...come on what's next? Oh and then sleep

For me, I've done a TON of stuff to my home in the past 42 days that I've been sober. I've cleaned it top to bottom. I've replaced a the kitchen sink/faucet/disposal, tore out the basement carpet and put in bamboo flooring, sealed up all the leaks, and a bunch of other things I've put off for years because I've been too busy being drunk. Home improvement is pretty addictive once you get going. There's no better feeling than adding value to your asset (home) without paying someone else to do it.

Volunteer and do a lot of 12step work - Google it if you don't know what it is,

Would like to say learn knitting process and made hand made cloth, it is time consuming and you'll get interest also while doing it. At the end you can decor your home beautifully.
