Mizzuno

So, its been a few weeks since my LAST bender. I picked myself and my bruised ego up off the ground, wiped off the dirt, and set about to correct what I broke. This was no easy task considering that i couldnt even hold my head up to look anyone in the eye. All i could manage to do was cry and pray for a quick exit. It took me 3 painful days to gain employment. I think that this is a very short period of time. I think that I do have a loving god, and a powerful network of friends and family that accepted my defeat and my troubles with love and grace. This community held my hand and my heart and helped me to help myself. I am amazed that I am alright. I am blessed to be alright. I am alright.
Now, i must make this life better than alright. I have two choices here. I can live a life of headaches, sickness, despair and injury to my already sensitive being? My second choice is that I can live a life that is filled with love and gratitude, reaching for the stars, and embracing that i am capable of anything that i put my mind to? The choice is mine. It always has been.
I have already proven to myself and the world that i am a fabulous Alcoholic. I am ready to prove something just as powerful but with dignity and grace.

That's fantastic that you already found a new job-congrats!

I had to laugh about you being a fabulous alcoholic. I always tried to give everything that 100% effort, including drinking so it reminded me of that lol

Your attitude is fabulous and that's a good part of the battle
