Introduction
Hello all, I just posted in the Alcoholism thread, but wanted to take some time to introduce myself here as well.
I am male, 24, married, and live in the states.
For the last few years I have struggled with alcohol with periods of nightly binge drinking, followed by weeks/months without drinking anything. I always think I can get away with a glass or two, but I am starting to realize that is probably not the case.
I do have some anxiety issues, with a heavy OCD with hypochondria, but I've gotten better with that over the last few months.
On a bright side, I enjoy reading and writing (mainly in the fantasy fiction genre). Some of my favorite authors include Stephen King, JK Rowling, and AC Crispin. I like camping, road trips, and everything summer related. I love spending time with my wife -- usually we will go wander around malls, go watch movies, or stay at home and watch Big Bang Theory or whatever else is on.
Looking forward to chatting with you guys, getting some support, and providing as much help as I can for others.

Welcome TheGrimm. My litmus test was why did I want those couple glasses of wine? Once I realized it was because of how it made me feel, not how it enhanced my food etc. Once I realized that I knew every time I drank I would want to hold onto that feeling. We all know where that goes
