First Steps

Hello to all. With the exception on drinking a bottle of red wine back in February I've stayed true to my goal of ending my relationship with alcohol. Scheduled for LFT exam in the morning. A little anxious because last year they were elevated but then again I was drinking during the weekends. Anyway thanks or being here. I don't feel so alone on my journey.

Welcome to SR, Lynn25! We're glad to have you here. We've all been down that road and know where you're coming from.

Good luck on the LFT! Hopefully you'll check out alright. But no matter the result, not drinking is still the answer!

Hi Lynn,

Welcome to the forums. I have found them to be an invaluable source of strength for my sobriety.

Thanks for the support regarding my first post.
Thanks Spinach it is not only my intention to give up drinking but looking into a whole new lifestyle. Aryurveda seems interesting. What ever the outcome of the LFT test I'll continue to work at getting them under control. Will post again when results come in. Again thanks to all and may God continue to bless us all.

I hope things have settled down. I hope also that you do try for sobriety it cannot be praised enough ,life is just so much better once you embrace the concept. I know that if I was to drink again I'd be quickly back to large amounts of alcohol and all it's problems because it happened so many times.
All the best
John.
