Unhappy my children's safety

I thought I could trust him with the kids on the weekend but I guess not. I went to pick them up and they looked like they had been in a pigpen and found out later that my ex's stepmom had hit them. I need to keep them safe and that is not a safe place. I feel bad because they love their dad but he lives with his parents and they can't be trusted. I know what to do, I need to get supervised visits with him and them. I need a little strength from you all here. Please pray for me.

Singlemom,
Sending some strength your way.
I know it's hard on the kids, but you are making the right decision.
Their safety has to come first.
Hugs,
Gabe

Re: my children's safety

Your kids' safety is worth the pain of doing what you need to do.
So is your sanity.
You can do it, just ask H.P.

I'll pray too for you and your kids. Setting boundaries are hard, but sometimes what we NEED to do isn't always what will make others happy.
