I got my 2 Month Medallion Today!
Well 2 months ago My life was a mess, Unmanageable would be an understatement at best.
With the help of a treatment center, my new AA family, my children & parents and This site, I have been fortunate enough to learn about my addiction, find strength, and wake up the last 60 days SOBER.
This morning I was not planning on going to AA meeting, I have never been to the Friday morning meeting before at the AA club I attend. My plan was actually to sleep in. But the phone rang early & woke me up, when I looked at the clock & realized I had plenty of time to get ready & get there, even with the new snow!
So glad I walked in, a chair was open next to someone I know from my Monday meetings, we talked & I shared with her that is was my 2 months today!
She later presented me with my medallion & very kind & encouraging words.
Glad I got up & went to accept that small token of what really is a big step in my new life!

I gave out a 10 month at the meeting last night. Life keeps getting better as you collect all the colors

Lots of wise wonderful people that walk through those doors & accept us for who we are & what we've done.
And they always tell us "keep coming back, it works!"

And many do say keep coming back , it works if you work it..
I prefer to say STAY ITS EASIER.
