Hello I'm here to learn about addictions. I'm attending college for my Degree in Acohol and Drug Counselor. I lost my husband of 17 years to an overdose. He worked in Law Enforcement which was a very stressful job. I have use but not in the past 28 years. I have family members with additions as well. I'm hoping to help others with additions. Thanks!thanks

Grab a coffee and read the posts, Snow. It's all here.
Attending "open" AA and NA meetings is helpful too. At my old AA Home Group before I moved we used to always designate an "open participation" table for visiting nursing students etc., or family members of newcomers who needed someone to accompany them to their first meeting .
All the best.
